OUR STORY

Wiser Programs began with the simple idea that meeting new people, learning and exploring don't have an expiry date. All too often, older adults are offered activities that underestimate their curiosity, humour and sense of wonder. Wiser Programs was created to change the way people experience growing older. 

Founded in Edmonton, Alberta, Wiser Programs designs and hosts full-day experiences called - DayCations - for older adults 55+. Each DayCation blends meaningful presentations or workshops, lighthearted fun and activities that are close to home. 

MEET THE FOUNDER

Wiser Programs was founded by educator and community builder, Camille Rae, whose lifelong passion for connection and travel inspired the idea. After decades of creating spaces for fellowship and laughter - from classrooms to community events - Camille envisioned a program that would make it easy for older adults to stay curious, engaged and socially connected. 

Camille believes that fun, learning and shared experiences are timeless.
